In 2018, my partner and I purchased a block of land in the Southern Downs of Queensland. Blocklife chronicles the highs and lows of building a shed in Nundubbermere, a locality twenty minutes west of Stanthorpe. According to Wikipedia, Nundubbermere has a population of 98 (soon to be 100 if all goes well) and lies on the border of the granite belt and trap rock country. Lots of rocks. They feature quite strongly in the blog.
Writing
People often ask me: “Why do you write?” Actually, that’s a lie; no one’s ever asked me that. What they ask is: “Are you published?” It’s excruciating. I’ve stopped mumbling ‘No, but...’ and now say, ‘I’m working on it.’
Art
An overview of my past life as a graphic designer, displaying a variety of artworks that were either lost, stolen, burned or stored in a box under the house. And if anyone out there knows what happened to my tiles, I’d like to hear from you.
